Welcome!

Welcome to my classroom web site. I can't wait to get to know all of my new kiddos and their families, and I'm excited about setting up this website for you to use to help you navigate 6th grade science. Some things you will be able to find here (eventually) are samples of work, due dates, assignment information, and class notes. I'm pretty new at this, so please bear with me as I try to get it down. I think that if we work together (and have plenty of patience) this will be a valuable learning tool for all of us! 

This is my third year at Steger, after teaching at Holman Middle School in Pattonville for 12 years. All but one of those years were in 7th grade. I have taught Science every year, but I have also taught Math and Reading. I have lived in St. Louis with my husband since 1998, after graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I received my Masters Degree from Webster University.
