Welcome to Speech and Language Therapy at Bristol School! Services are provided at both Bristol Elementary and Bristol Primary to support students with speech and/or language concerns.

Therapy focuses on identified areas of concern which may include articulation, fluency, vocabulary knowledge, basic concepts or social interactions, to name a few. Therapy activities are chosen based on each of the student's individual needs and aim to improve their skills in a certain area. Some home interventions that may be helpful include: *playing language-based games, such as BLURT, Outburst Jr., Memory, 20 Questions and many, many others *reading books and discussing vocabulary words and basic concepts *practicing telling stories/"how to" events in sequential order *modeling clear, articulate speech *getting involved in extra-curricular activities to promote social skills Contact Lisa Grodeon, CCC-SLP, if you have any questions or conhttp://schools.webster.k12.mo.us/education/graphics/webpallette.gifcerns.
