Buddy Bonding

When I got ready to walk into my buddy Aria's kindergarten classroom I couldn't keep my feet still. As we stepped into the classroom the teacher gave instructions and my buddy Aria and I got started. First, we put graham crackers on the milk carton. After, we put gumdrops and other candy on the graham crackers. Then, I took a picture with my buddy Aria. Next, we had hot chocolate and Tootsie Roll Pops. Then, we took a book that they made and read it. Finally, we finished and we left our buddies in class. We went back to class to finish our work.

Are kids sick or are they on strike?

I have interviewed the nurse about the latest virus and she said...

Merrill:Why have kids been going home so much?

Nurse:Most kids have been getting sick with a headache and a fever.

Merrill:How can we stay healthy?

Nurse:The main things we can do is keep our hands clean, cover our mouths when we sneeze or cough, drink lots of water and get lots of rest!

I Love Writing!

I like class because we write a lot. The only reason I like writing is because we write stories about everything. When we write a story we have to pre-write, draft, revise, edit and publish. That is why I like class because we do a lot of writing.

What's With Kids and Subs

Why do kids always think that they can do whatever they want? It's like everyone thinks the classroom is a disco party and when the subs aren't looking or talking to another teacher they break out and do the cha cha slide. When the sub writes the report of how good the kids were I wouldn't call it pretty. Then the teachers say don't do it again. So they will forget what happened the last time with the sub. Will the kids do it again or will they act like sweet little angels? Here's what some kids said about my questions. Do they think the classroom is a party when the sub is around? Vache said the Kindergartners don't know how to control their act. Joe said maybe kids want a break without their teacher knowing. Tommy said he could talk to his friends all day with a sub around.
