SUB-COMMITTEE WORK 2010-2011
- Technology standards (NETs) have been adopted for staff and administrators, and updated for students. These standards will be worked into evaluation documents for staff and administrators, and into grade level curriculum for students. IN PROCESS
- Online PD for Technology will be defined and opportunities examined. N/C
- Building TIL Facilitators will be working with staff to develop a vision for 21st Century learning and to begin the process of aligning standards to grade levels. The committee with work with that data to update the scope and sequence for this area. COMPLETE GRADES K-5, IN PROCESS GRADES 6-8 N/C GRADES 9-12
- Technology and Information Literacy 'common experiences' will be adopted to provide data to guide and monitor student growth . COMPLETE GRADES K-5, IN PROCESS GRADES 6-8
- Keyboarding for grades 3-6 will be evaluated and updated COMPLETE
- Adoption and implementation of a required (NCLB) assessment for Technology competency for 8th grade will be completed. IN PROCESS
- Staff and district level websites will be examined and criteria will be clarified to provide a framework for websites that communicate needed information and extend the learning day. IN PROCESS
