Once you have discovered what each instrument does to help Professor Mulus determine and predict the weather for his region, you will be ready to complete the challenging task of predicting the 3-day forecast for your region and present that information in a news broadcast for Channel 10 News.  The script and broadcast will be evaluated by using the evalutation sheet.

If you complete your 3-day forecast accurately you will receive your special meteorological certificate.  There are 3 challenging levels!!  Hopefully you will have success completing all three!

Step 3:    Once you complete your

forecast and your research you are ready to organize your group to produce your television broadcast.  You will take all of the information you've gathered and write a script for a television broadcast for Channel 10 News.  You will be filling in for Chief Meteorologist, Dr. Mulus and you will need to create a backdrop for your news producation, decide who will say what in the broadcast, and design weather maps and instruments used to determine weather to discuss during your broadcast.  You will be evaluated using the evaluation sheet and this will determine your grade on this webquest.

Good Luck!  I know you are up to the challenge!
