The Task
 

To be successful in fulfilling your mission you will be studying weather patterns and learning about tools used to measure weather conditions such as a rain gauge, thermometer, barometer and anemometer just to name a few. You will be using your knowledge of using these instruments along with observing weather patterns to predict the 3-day forecast for a specific region in the U.S., and also your local region.

In the end you will be creating a video of a live weather broadcast that will include your 3-day forecast.  Your research will help guide you in your understanding of the importance of observing weather patterns and using instruments to help you determine future forecasts.
