Parent Portal FAQs

Who has access to the Parent Portal?
All parents and guardians with students in the Webster Groves School District can request a Parent Portal account. Instructions for requesting an account are available on the main Portal page: http://www.webster.k12.mo.us/portal

Is student information on the Parent Portal secure?
Information stored on the system is encrypted and uses a high level of internet security to safeguard system data, similar to systems used by banks and other institutions that do business on line. Portal access requires a user name and password, and strong password syntax is enforced.

What if I forget my password?
In the event of forgotten passwords, simply use the "forgotten your password?" option on the Logon screen.  The system will automatically Email you.

Why didn’t I receive an Email containing my username and password?
Some corporate email systems view the Parent Portal Email as "spam" and will prevent delivery.  You might consider using your personal account if this happens or check your junk/spam mail folder.

What do I do if I change my Email address?
Be sure to notify your child’s school should your Email address change.

What if I need help?
Technical assistance is available via e-mail at portalhelp@wgmail.org
