Meet Ms Bennett: I grew up in Springfield, Illinois.  From elementary school I knew I wanted to be a physical education teacher. I participated in varsity athletics at my high school including tennis, volleyball, basketball and track.  I have over 20 years as a physical education teacher and 25 years as an aquatic swimming and water safety instructor and continue to love being around the water.

• 1982 B.S. in Physical Education from the Ohio State University
• 1982 - 1984, 22 graduate hours of course work in Special Education from Western Illinois University
• 2002 - M.S. in Education from Webster University
