In the science discovery portion of the rotation, we focus on several small projects.  Project Alert is generally the first portion and will last for 3-4 lessons with Officer Todd discussing issues that students are currently facing or will be facing all too soon. 

    The class moves into an Earth Science portion where there is some research and a Powerpoint presentation generated in class. 

    The third aspect involves researching features about plate tectonics and our planet's surface.  Research is completed which will lead to students creating a large detailed plate map of the Earth. 

    The last aspect of science discovery has the student exploring Newton's Laws of Motion.
