And in the end, everyone lives happily ever after...but what if the characters and setting change? What if the problems in the tale change? Endings with a twist when everyone doesn't live happily ever after? Could this be possible?
In this WebQuest you'll be writing and creating a new updated version of a fairy tale called a "fractured fairy tale". Read or heard of one before? Well, they are lots of fun to read and hear. Your new tale will be written as a "play" and then your tale will come to life as you act out you fractured fairy tale on stage in a "Reader's Theater". And the best part about Readers Theater is you don't have to memorize a script! You get to hold your script in your hand....and no costumes are needed...just a simple prop! So, there is no need to be nervous!
