The students will learn to sing, play various musical instruments, perform and create music at their optimal level of challenge.

The students will learn to analyze the complexity and variety of musical forms and likewise understand the different expectations of audience behavior through class and extra-curricular activities.

The students will be able to reflect on works of music and use appropriate vocabulary and think critically to make an informed opinion about the work.

The students will understand that music reflects cultural, social, historical, and personal influences throughout time.
