The Public School Retirement System (PSRS):

All Certified Employees who are contracted to work more than 17 hours per week are required to contribute 13.50% of the their pay to the Public School Retirement System. In addition retirement will be calculated on the cost of any Health or Dental Insurance provided to you by the school district. The school district matches this contribution. Your earnings will not be subject to Social Security. For more information visit the PSRS Website.

The Public Education Employee Retirement System of Missouri (PEERS):

All Non Certified Employees who are contracted to work more than 20 hours per week are required to contribute 6.5% of their pay to the Non Teacher Retirement System. In addition retirement will be calculated on the cost of any Health or Dental Insurance provided to you by the school district. The school district matches this contribution. Your earnings will be subject to Social Security.
