Pay Dates:

All regular employees are paid on the fifteenth and last working day of the month. Employees that do not work during the summer will be paid the remainder of their contracts on the first pay date in June.

Direct Deposit:
The School District requires that all employees have their check directly deposited. You may have up to three separate bank accounts. Please note that the first paycheck you receive after either beginning or changing an account for direct deposit will be a LIVE CHECK. If you are planning to change bank accounts, please notify the Payroll Office prior to doing so. Any change made without prior notification will result in the monies being returned to the Payroll Office by the Bank.

Tax Forms:
You may update your withholding allowance at any time. Changes will be processed with the following payroll.

Address Changes:
Please send in a change of address as soon as it is effective. This will insure that all paychecks, W-2s, etc., will be mailed to the correct address.

MOST (Missouri Saving for Tuition):
This is a program designed for Missouri residents to encourage saving for College Tuition. Contributions can be deducted directly from your paycheck. Any monies saved are exempt from State Tax. Upon withdrawal, any earnings accrued are exempt from State taxes, Federal taxes will be based on the student's tax rate. For more information, please visit their website at www.missourimost.org,or contact the payroll office and request an enrollment packet.

NEA:
NEA Dues are taken from paychecks starting in October and running through May. Please contact your NEA representative for further information regarding membership.

MSTA:
MSTA Dues are taken from paychecks starting in October and running through December. Please contact your MSTA representative for further information regarding membership.

United Way:
The United Way Drive is held in the fall each school year. Deductions are taken from paychecks starting in January and running through May. Please contact Judy Cheek at 918-4007 with questions other than deduction discrepancies.
