We cover 4 units in social studies over the year. These are some examples of lessons that we use throughout the unit.

One of the main Essential Questions we try to answer all year is:
How does where you live affect how you live?
Concepts of geography, government, culture, economics,
and history are integrated into four social studies units, including Early
America (a study of early explorers, Native Americans, and colonists); Our
Presidents and Government; St. Louis Community, and U.S. Regions. Students use a
variety of information processing skills, primary and secondary sources, and
artifacts to investigate these topics of study.
